About our ‘Spring Flush' Loose Leaf Black Tea

From the prized first flush of Spring growth, this exceptional loose leaf black tea has a unique flavour and aroma with a lasting sweetness on the palate. Harvested and processed in October of the production year.

When brewed correctly, this black tea is not bitter or full of tannin. This method allows the complex flavours to be enjoyed to their full potential over 5 or more steeps.

We recommend trying without milk or sweetener!

In blind test, it's an excellent and great taiwanese black tea. The taste is like a red jade but better. Very sweet and tasteful. Honey, caramel and cane sugar are major tastes. What an incredible and very fabulous tea.

Brewing instructions for 'Spring Flush' Loose Leaf Black Tea

For 1 - 4 people, use approx. 5g of tea (3-4 teaspoons), add 200-250ml of freshly boiled water (96-98℃).

We recommend:

First steep to be 45 seconds

Second - 1 minute
Third - 1.5 minutes
Fourth - 2 minutes
Fifth - 3 minutes
